In addition to photography, I build websites for actors and businesses.  You can see some samples of websites I’ve designed - aside from this one which I also designed - over in the right sidebar under the menu.

What you need to know:  I do all design aspects and I specialize specifically in Wordpress designs.  Wordpress - in a nutshell - is a server side software package that runs your site for you.  You can make new pages easily - and add to existing pages yourself without needing to pay me to do additional work.

What you need to do before we get together, or at least know that you will need to do shortly after we meet:

• Get your website name, if you don’t already have it.  Personally, I use Go Daddy.
• Get hosting too.  You can buy the name of the website (i.e. www.yourname.com) but you still need a server to host files online.
• Make sure your hosting is Linux based and has at least one database available.
• Remember your login and password to your hosting server.
• Get your files ready on a USB key drive.  Or burn a cd.  Theoretically you can also email the files to me.
• If you have a demo reel - host it on You Tube.  This is free and won’t cost you anything now or ever.  Send me the link for the reel.
• Your files are - any text files - like a resume - biography - anything with words.
• Files are also your pictures.  Prepare folders named main pictures and secondary.  Different design packages have different amounts of pictures.

Basic sites will cost approximately 150$ (less if you have less content - more content = more time having to make the site etc) and will primarily be designed with your name at the top - a white background for women and a black background for men unless otherwise specified - a main picture used in on one side of the page and the other side of the page reserved for your “content”.

Be sure to specify how you want your name to appear and any other information you want in the title name bar.  Your menu will appear directly beneath that and will generally have the following links: resume, demo reel, pictures/gallery (choose whichever you prefer), and perhaps a biography.  Any other pages you want make sure to specify what pages you want and make sure to include the content for those pages.  I’m not going to make up a biography for you… !

If you have any special requests - please ask - I can do anything but I have to let you know how much extra it might cost, etc.  Also keep in mind Flash sites are not recommended.  (iPhones do not read flash websites and do you know how many casting agents have iPhones?  A LOT. )

Generally, I need to get at least half of the cost quoted upfront and the rest can be paid after I finish the site.  You can pay all upfront too though if you’re comfortable with that after we meet.  That way we won’t have to meet up again.

We can accept payments via credit cards at Paypal but we need to charge an additional 10% for Paypal processing fees.
